Alma, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team defeated Alma 1-0 improving their record to 3-2-2, 1-2 in the MIAA. Sophomore Emily Theisen scored the game's only goal 4:46 into the match.
The Bulldog's defense would hold Alma scoreless for the match to earn their first conference win on the season. Alma was only able to attempt two shots on goal. The shut out would be Senior Lexi Lewandowski's fifth shutout of the year.
The season will continue Saturday September 19 when the Bulldogs host Calvin. The match is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
