NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Caroline Eagan and Domenique Sarnecky produced goals 2 ½ minutes apart, and that's all the production Albion College needed to score a 2-0 victory over Saint Mary's College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer action.

"I thought Caroline and Domenique took their chances well," Albion Coach Eric Scott said.

Scott had to be pleased with the Britons' defensive effort which surrendered just one shot on goal. Maggie Troost picked up her second shutout of the season.

Albion's next league test is a Saturday date at Alma College.

"We still have a lot of work to do, and need to prepare for another hard match against a good Alma team," Scott said.
