Twenty-Two MIAA Wrestlers, Two Programs Recognized with NWCA Scholar All-America Honors

MANHEIM, Pa. -- On April 10, 22 individuals and two teams from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were recognized with Scholar All-America honors by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

A total of 418 individuals from 100 institutions were recognized with Scholar All-America honors.

Albion College represents the league with the eighth-highest cumulative grade-point average in Division III wrestling.  The Brits boast a GPA of 3.7110 and additionally had six wrestlers deemed as Scholar All-Americans by the NWCA.

The University of Olivet also appears on the Top 30 Scholar Team All-America list at No. 20.  The Comets posted a cumulative GPA of 3.5400 and had eight wrestlers earn NWCA Scholar All-America accolades.

Trine University had four wrestlers on the Scholar All-America list, followed by Adrian College with three honorees and Alma College with one.
