Seventeen Wrestlers, Two Programs Receive NWCA Scholar All-America Recognition

MANHEIM, Pa. -- On March 30, seventeen individuals and two teams from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were recognized with Scholar All-America honors by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

A total of 369 individuals from 88 institutions were recognized with Scholar All-America honors.

Albion College represents the league with the 21st-highest cumulative grade-point average in Division III wrestling.  The Brits boast a GPA of 3.538 and additionally had six wrestlers deemed as Scholar All-Americans by the NWCA.

Olivet College also appears on the Top 30 Scholar Team All-America list at No. 28.  The Comets posted a cumulative GPA of 3.492 and had seven wrestlers earn NWCA Scholar All-America accolades.

Adrian College and Trine University each had two wrestlers on the Scholar All-America list.
