Twelve Wrestlers, One Program Recognized with Scholar All-America Honors by NWCA

MANHEIM, Pa. -- On April 8, 12 individuals and one team from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were recognized with Scholar All-America accolades by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

A total of 325 individuals from 87 different instutitions were recognized with Scholar All-America honors.

Olivet College represents the league with the fifth-highest cumulative grade-point average in Division III wrestling.  The Comets boast a GPA of 3.755 and additionally had six wrestlers deemed as Scholar All-Americans by the NWCA.  Olivet's 3.755 GPA is the highest in school history.

Albion had three wrestlers on the Scholar All-America list following its inaugural season, while Adrian, Alma, and Trine were represented by one Scholar All-American each.
