20 MIAA Wrestlers Named 2021 NWCA Scholar All-Americans

MANHEIM, Pa. -- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the 2021 Scholar All-American individual honorees for NCAA Division III on May 3.  Of the 413 individuals honored, 20 were from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

Olivet made up nearly half of the league's honorees with a total of eight.  Trine was represented by six NWCA Scholar All-Americans, Adrian had five on the list, and Alma with one.

The individual honorees include All-MIAA wrestlers Derick Duvall (165), Owen Guilford (174), Michael Jacobs (184), Jayce Kuehnlein (157), Cameron Mahlich (125), Reese Wallis (133), Dominick Wilson (285), and 2021 MIAA Most Valuable Wrestler Hunter Murphy (149 lbs).
