No. 17 Olivet

Olivet had a 3-1 record at the Kalahari Duals in Sandusky, Ohio. The Comets opened the day with a 25-12 loss to No. 6-ranked Mount Union (Ohio). Olivet rebounded to beat Keystone (Pa.), 53-5; Wis.-Oshkosh, 23-16; and Heidelberg (Ohio), 30-15. For the day, Drew Mandell had a 3-0 record with three first-period pins (1:28, 1:16, 1:05) at 149 pounds. Cole Hersch had two pins at 157 pounds. Other wrestlers to win two matches were Cameron Mahlich at 125 pounds, Reese Wallis at 133 pounds and Adam Hall at 174 pounds. The Comets return to the mat January 4-5 at the NWCA National Multi Divisional Duals in Louisville, Kentucky.
