Hope Women's Lacrosse Defends MIAA Regular-Season Championship Title

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Hope College women's lacrosse program claimed the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) championship title for the second-straight year after concluding the 2024 season with an unblemished record of 7-0 in league play.  This is the second MIAA title in program history for the Flying Dutch.

Hope topped off its season with a 21-6 victory over Saint Mary's College on Saturday, April 27.

Seven players concluded the season with double figures in points including the following: sophomore Julia Brown (31 goals, 6 assists), senior Molly Frederickson (18 goals, 7 assists), senior Elena Salazar (17 goals, 8 assists), junior Kerrigan Brown (10 goals, 13 assists), junior Juli Kirkpatrick (8 goals, 14 assists), sophomore Caleigh Randall (13 goals, 6 assists), and sophomore Sydney LaPrairie (11 goals, 6 assists).

Hope will compete as the No. 1 seed in the 2024 MIAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament, which will be held on May 1 (semifinals) and May 4 (championship).
