HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- At the conclusion of the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's lacrosse regular season, head coaches from the MIAA's eight member institutions that sponsor women's lacrosse voted on All-MIAA awards.

Calvin University graduate student Megan Gilbert was voted the 2023 MIAA Offensive Player of the Year after assisting the Knights to a 5-2 record in league play and the No. 4 seed in the MIAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament.  The midfielder concluded conference play as the MIAA's leader with 41 points, 34 goals, 58 shots, 45 shots on goal, and 65 draw controls.  Gilbert is now a three-time All-MIAA honoree and was named Athlete of the Week three times this season.

Senior defender Delaney Kirinovic of Hope College was named the 2023 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year after leading the Flying Dutch to their first regular-season title in program history with a 7-0 mark in league play.  Kirinovic is not only a two-year captain for Hope, but she has also started every game of her career.  She is now a two-time All-MIAA honoree.

Hope freshman attacker Julia Brown was selected as the 2023 MIAA Rookie of the Year in helping the Flying Dutch to the conference championship and No. 1 seed in the MIAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament.  Brown finished conference play second in the league with 36 points and third in both goals (24) and assists (12).
