2019 MIAA Year In Review - Women's Lacrosse

Among the highlights from the 2019 season:

- The Saint Mary's women's lacrosse team captured their first-ever Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's lacrosse championship Friday, when the Belles outlasted Albion in a battle of unbeaten teams in the season finale for both teams, 14-12.

- Albion prevailed as the MIAA Tournament Champion, defeating No. 4 seed Hope in the final, 16-14. Albion took an 8-0 lead to start the game and then fended off Hope's rally.

- Three MIAA players - all from Saint Mary's - garnered All-Region honors from the IWLCA: Erin Doyle, Kate Kelly, and Rachael Leonard.
