HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- The Adrian College women's golf team completed its historic season on Thursday afternoon after the third round of the NCAA National Championships. The Bulldogs shot 359 on day three of the tournament to shoot a final score of 1,064 falling short of the cut.

"Everything this team accomplished this season was amazing," said head coach Brent Greenwood. "They broke multiple records, won multiple tournaments and awards, and took us to our first NCAA National Championship appearance. I am beyond proud of this team and can't wait for what the future holds."

Taylor Ross was the lone senior to compete this week for the Bulldogs. She went on to finish her career shooting an 83 in her final round with the help of seven pars and two birdies. Lauren Reed also shot 83 for Adrian on Thursday followed by Riley Kleck at 94, Olivia Ohmer at 99, and Sara Bevington at 100.

Due to weather and a pin placement on one of the holes, the NCAA decided to cancel round three and base the cut off of results throw two rounds of play. Adrian would go on to finish 23rd in the 29-team field with a team score of 705.

The Bulldogs conclude their historical season where they won the program's first MIAA Regular Season Championship, their first MIAA Tournament Championship, and advancing to the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history. Adrian will return four sophomores to their starting five next season with the goal of reaching the national stage once again in 2024.
