Adrian Women's Golf Sits in a Good Spot After Day One of NCAA Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- The Adrian College women's golf team opened the NCAA National Championship on Tuesday afternoon with day one of the four-day tournament. The Bulldogs struggled in the opening round, but sit in a good spot with two more rounds to go before the cut. Adrian sits in 21st after day one with a score of 352.

Lauren Reed led the Bulldogs with an 83 on the opening day. Olivia Ohmer shot 87 for Adrian followed by an 89 from Taylor RossSara Bevington finished the opening round with a 93 while Riley Kleck shot 96.

The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround with early tee times for day two. Day two will begin on Wednesday, May 10 with the first tee time at 7:50 AM. Kleck will lead the group at 7:50 AM followed by Reed at 8:00 AM, Bevington at 8:10 AM, Ohmer at 8:20 AM, and Ross at 8:30 AM.
