Twenty student-athletes from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were announced to the Academic All-District® At-Large Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on May 23, 2023.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 21 (men) and June 22 (women).
Hope College leads the MIAA with a total of five All-District® honorees. Both Kalamazoo College and Trine University had three athletes named to the All-District Team®, followed by Calvin University with three honorees. Alma College and Saint Mary's are represented by two honorees each, while Adrian College is represented by one.
A total of twelve women's lacrosse player and eight golfers received Academic All-District® recognition from the CSC.
