At the conclusion of the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's golf season, Hope College was crowned the MIAA Champion. The All-MIAA awards were also announced for the top 12 student-athletes, according to scoring average through six MIAA rounds: four MIAA Jamborees and two rounds in the Fall Final, Oct. 8-9, at Bedford Valley Golf Club.
With a season-best 78.17 average, Hope's Grace VanDellen was named the MIAA Women's Golf Most Valuable Golfer. Emma Dykhouse of Calvin University was selected as the Sportsmanship Award winner in a vote of MIAA women's golf head coaches.
Kalamazoo's Darby Scott and Saint Mary's Sydney Hruskoci earned their fourth-consecutive All-MIAA honors. Hope's Megan Jenkinson and Grace VanDellen, Calvin's Chandler Sjoerdsma, Alma's Morgan Yates, and Adrian's Taylor Ross all claimed All-MIAA accolades for a second time.
As the top-four finishing teams, Hope, Saint Mary's, Adrian, and Calvin will all compete in the MIAA's Automatic-Qualifying Tournament this spring to determine which squad will receive the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Championship.
