EAST LANSING, Mich. - Hunter Kehoe earned a spot as an individual in the final round of the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships and proved she was one of the top players with a top-ten finish at the event.

The senior started her round on par three No. 10 and dropped her tee shot on the green to get her day going. Kehoe tapped in a short putt for par and added pars on No. 11 and No. 12. After a massive drive off the tee on par five No. 15, her approach put her in position for a long putt for a potential eagle. The senior used a two-putt for a birdie to move to one-under for the day. Another long drive and dart of an approach shot put Kehoe on the green in two on par four No. 14, and she sunk the 12-foot putt for her second birdie in as many holes.

Kehoe added a par on No. 15 to remain at two-under. She chipped onto the green in two on par four No. 16 and drained the putt to move to three-under par. Her long putt for a potential birdie on par five No. 17 missed just left of the cup as she tapped in for par to remain three-under through eight holes. The senior saw a long putt for bogey on No. 18 spin all the way around the cup and in as Kehoe made the turn at -2.

The senior locked in on putts on No. 1 and No. 2 to par the pair. A long potential par putt from the front-left edge of the green on par four No. 3 narrowly missed as Kehoe tapped in for a bogey. She bounced right back by sinking mid-range putts on No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 for three consecutive pars. The green was unforgiving on par three No. 7 as a late break on a putt saw Kehoe bogey the hole. The senior was forced to scramble a bit on par five No. 8 and settle for an eight. Par three No. 9 had given Kehoe trouble all week, but the senior stepped up in a big way on her final hole. She dropped a dart of a tee shot smack-dab in the middle of the green. Her effort at a birdie putt was inches away from falling, and Kehoe closed out the round with a par for a three-over 75 on the day.

Paired with her scores of 76-78-79 in her first three rounds, Kehoe's 308 (+20) effort on the week gave her a share of sixth place individually and garnered the senior All-American honors for the second consecutive year. Kehoe was the highest finishing individual in the field, and the only players who placed higher than Kehoe were all on teams which finished in the top four in the field. She finished the four-day tournament with 42 pars, seven birdies, and was the second-best player in the field in par four scoring.

George Fox's Makensie Toole put up her second round below par with a 71 to capture the individual National Championship as she tallied a 291 (+3) on the week. Methodist University, meanwhile, shot a 302 to overtake Carnegie Mellon by five strokes for the team title. George Fox finished in third, and Redlands rounded out the top four teams in the field.
