Five women's basketball players from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were named to All-Region 7 teams by D3hoops.com as announced on Tuesday, March 12.

The First Team honorees from the MIAA include Hope College's Jada Garner and Trine University's Sidney Wagner.

Jada Garner, a junior guard for the Flying Dutch, was announced as the 2024 MIAA Most Valuable Player earlier this year.  Garner led Hope to the regular-season title with a 15-1 mark in league play, along with an overall record of 26-4 and a trip to the 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament's Sweet 16.  In starting all 30 games played, Garner concluded the season as the MIAA's leader with a .519 three-point field-goal percentage (41-of-79).  Garner was named the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week twice.

Trine junior guard Sidney Wagner was announced to the All-Region 7 First Team after leading the Thunder to a 12-4 mark in league play, the 2024 MIAA Tournament championship title, an overall record of 22-8, and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  Wagner wrapped up the season as the conference's leader with 178 field goals, 74 steals, and 460 points.  She became a two-time All-MIAA selection this season and was selected as the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week three times.

Both Alma College's Talor Sas and Hope's Sydney Vis were selected to the All-Region 7 Second Team.

Senior Scot Taylor Sas made her mark in MIAA history in becoming a four-time all-conference honoree this year.  The guard led Alma to a 9-7 league record and an overall record of 13-13.  Overall, Sas concluded the year as the league leader with 98 free throws and 17.5 points per contest.  She also finished in the top three with 149 field goals, a free-throw percentage of .797, and 454 total points.  Sas was deemed the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week three times this season.

Sydney Vis is a sophomore forward for the Flying Dutch.  Vis earned a spot on the All-MIAA First Team in her inaugural season as a starter at Hope.  She finished in the league's top five with 124 field goals, 86 free throws, a .782 free-throw percentage, 54 steals, 371 points, and 12.4 points per game.  Vis was named the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week twice this year.

RyAnn Rohrer, a sophomore forward at Calvin University, was announced to the All-Region 7 Third Team.  Rohrer assisted the Knights to a 12-4 mark in conference competition and an overall record of 18-8.  She concluded the year in the MIAA's top five with 171 total rebounds and 6.6 boards per contest.  Rohrer was selected to the All-MIAA First Team and was announced the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week on January 2.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were each contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. There were 812 players nominated nationwide. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region.

Players from these lists are eligible for the D3hoops.com All-America teams.  The teams will be released March 16, at the national championship game.
