ATLANTA, Ga. – Senior captain Cierra Cole was selected as part of the WBCA "So You Want To Be A Coach" class, as announced on Thursday morning. It is the 19th year for the program, where the participants will take part in a two-day workshop at the WBCA Convention this spring. 

"I am thrilled that the WBCA has chosen Cierra to participate in the program," said head women's basketball coach, Doreen Carden. "Cierra has a great understanding and passion for the game and if she continues on this route, I have no doubt she will be very successful. This is a great opportunity for her and I know she will soak it  in."

Cole currently averages a team-best 30.8 minutes per game. A critical piece of the lineup, she is a defensive weapon, recording 43 steals this year.
