FREELAND, Mich. -- Following the conclusion of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's basketball regular season, the nine head coaches voted on All-MIAA awards.

Hope fifth-year senior guard Kenedy Schoonveld earned the title of 2022 MIAA Most Valuable Player for the third-straight season after assisting the Flying Dutch to a share of the MIAA title.  After starting all 16 regular-season contests, Schoonveld finished in the MIAA's top five for the following categories:  field-goal percentage (.488), three-point field-goal percentage (.449), and points per 40 minutes (21.5).  She also totaled 22 triples, 160 points, 36 assists, and 25 steals in MIAA games alone.  Schoonveld was selected as the MIAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week three times this season and is now a five-time All-MIAA honoree.

Hope fifth-year senior forward Olivia Voskuil was selected as the 2022 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year for the fourth-consecutive season and is now a four-time All-MIAA honoree.  Voskuil concluded the regular season as the MIAA's leader in steals with a total of 39.  She also finished in the top five for field-goal percentage (.453), blocks (33), and points per 40 minutes (21.5).

Schoonveld and Voskuil headline a First Team that includes four-time All-MIAA honoree Gabby Timmer of Calvin, Trine's three-time All-MIAA players Tara Bieniewicz and Kayla Wildman, and first-time All-MIAA recipient Lolo Reed of Albion.
