Hope College guard Kenedy Schoonveld has been named to the 2021 D3hoops All-America Teams for the second consecutive season.

The senior social work major from Zeeland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS) is one of 15 honorees and one of five second-team selections. Schoonveld earned the same distinction as a junior.

Earlier this week, Schoonveld was chosen to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America First Team for the second season in a row.

This season, Schoonveld became the first member of the Flying Dutch to earn MIAA MVP distinction in back-to-back seasons and third to receive the honor more than once. She also earned All-MIAA First Team distinction for the fourth time.

The guard topped the Flying Dutch in scoring at 10.2 points per game while shooting 48.8 percent from the field. She also averaged 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while committing only 0.6 turnovers per game.

At 16-0, Hope finished undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the final D3hoops poll in back-to-back seasons.

Earlier this month, Schoonveld was selected as the D3hoops Co-Great Lakes Region Player of the Year.
