Dawson's honor is the first in Trine women's basketball history.

Hope's Francesca Buchanan was one of 30 individuals who received 2019 WBCA NCAA Division III Coaches’ All-America honorable mention. Buchanan was a three-time First-Team All-MIAA selection during a four-year career.

Both Dawson and Buchanan will participate in the inaugural Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate Division III All-Star Game presented by the WBCA to be played March 16 at the Cregger Center in Salem, Va.
