• Adrian went 4-4 on the week, but just 1-3 against MIAA opponents. The Bulldogs started the week with a doubleheader sweep against Baldwin Wallace April 10, where Kaitlin Lock (Sr., P, Farmington Hills, Mich.) threw a three-hit shutout in a 5-0 game-two win.

• Alma went 3-1 in MIAA action last week, sweeping Calvin April 12 before a series split with Saint Mary's April 15. Against Calvin, the Scots scattered three hits in an 8-0, 5-inning game-one win. On the day, McKenzie Creed (So., IF, Edwardsburg, Mich.) went 3-for-7 with two runs and six RBI against the Knights. In a matchup against two of the top teams in the MIAA, Alma took game one, 10-2; the Scots jumped to a 6-0 lead as Anna Couture (Sr., IF, Posen, Mich.) went 2-for-4 in the game with two runs, three RBI and a walk.

• After a 4-0 MIAA week for the second week in a row, Hope remains the lone unbeaten team in conference play thanks to three shutouts on the week. In a doubleheader sweep against Kalamazoo April 12, Sydney Jones (Jr., P, South Lyon, Mich.) threw a one-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts in Hope's 4-0 game-one win. Offensively, Hayley Reitsma (Jr., U, Grand Rapids, Mich.) had one extra-base hit in each of Hope's four games, including a home run in Hope's 8-0, five-inning game-one win over Olivet April 15.

• Saint Mary's went 3-1 on the week, sweeping Adrian April 12 before a series split with Alma April 15. Against Adrian, Morgan Raymer (Jr., P, Mt. Washington, Ky.) picked up both wins in the circle, while Jamie Young (Jr., IF, South Bend, Ind.) went 4-for-8 with two RBI and two runs on the day. Against Alma, the Belles came back with a 6-2 game-two win, lifted by Cassie Young (Jr., OF, South Bend, Ind.) and her 3-for-3 effort at the plate, including two runs scored.

• #6 Trine tallied two MIAA victories in as many outings last week, sweeping Albion with two five-inning wins April 15. The Thunder held Albion to just three hits in the two games, while seven Trine players had at least one multi-hit performance against the Brits. In game one, Carly Bachna (Fr., IF, Elyria, Ohio) went 3-for-3 with two home runs and five RBI to aid in a 12-1 victory.
