One day after garnering Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week honors, Trine's Danielle Ray (Fr., P, Hamilton, Ohio) was named the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III National Pitcher of the Week.

In a week that featured wins over two Top 10 nationally-ranked teams, Ray made six appearances inside the circle, resulting in a 3-0 record with three saves as the Thunder remained unbeaten on the year. In 30.2 innings, Ray struck out 30 batters with a 1.37 ERA against top-ranked opponents.

The Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III National Player and Pitcher of the Week are selected by Division III head coaches representing the eight NCAA regions.
