Adrian righthander Brooke Stewart threw a perfect game Saturday as the Bulldogs defeated Albion, 17-0, to complete a sweep of a doubleheader at Adrian.

Stewart, a senior from Onsted (Onsted HS) became the second Adrian pitcher ever to throw a no-hitter in an MIAA game, striking out 12 of the 15 batters she faced in the five-inning contest. Her perfect game is the 10th in MIAA history and the 40th no-hitter since the MIAA established softball as a conference sport in 1979.
