The Calvin men's cross country team won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Men's Cross Country Championship for its 34th-consecutive season with a final score of 22.  The 2021 championship was hosted by Saint Mary's College at the Purcell Athletic Fields and Nature Trail.

Calvin's Brandan Knepper improved on a 13th-place finish in 2019 to earn Most Valuable Runner honors this season in leading the Knights.  Knepper concluded the 8K course with a time of 25:07.1.  Calvin's Ryan Vreeke and Thaine Nederveld also concluded the event in the top five, with third- and fifth-place finishes, respectively.

Hope finished the race second with a score of 49, followed by Trine in third place with a score of 67.
