NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Ten men's indoor track and field student-athletes from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) received All-Great Lakes Region accolades from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on March 5, 2024.  The student-athletes totaled fifteen All-Region honors.

Hope College is represented by four student-athletes on the list of All-Region honorees.  Eli Meder was named All-Region for two individual events including the mile run and as the top-regional performer in the 800m run.  Connor Vachon also received individual honors with a nod to his 3000m run performance.  Both Meder and Vachon, along with Lucas Guidone and Nathan Woolum, also earned All-Region honors as members of the region's top-performing distance medley relay.

A regional-best performance in the 200m dash earned The University of Olivet's Jordon Brown a spot on the All-Region list.  Brown also earned regional accolades in the 400m dash.  DeVondre Chandler received All-Region accolades for his performance in the high jump.

Trine University's Jake Gladieux had the region's best time in the 60m hurdles, while also receiving regional recognition in the 200m dash.  Joining Gladieux on the All-Region list for the 60m hurdles is teammate Greysen Spohn.

Albion College is represented by Derrelle Murray who earned an All-Region nod in the shot put.  Calvin University's Luke Witvliet also makes an appearance on the list for his performance in the 5000m run.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region’s top-3 relay teams.  The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
