Trine University's Josh Fletcher Voted 2024 MIAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) proudly announces Trine University's Josh Fletcher as the 2024 Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year.

This prestigious accolade is a coaches vote based on the achievements of their colleagues both during regular- and post-season competition.

Fletcher was selected as the 2024 Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year after leading the Thunder to their fifth-straight MIAA title.

"Trine University has a great coach staff and upperclassman leadership," commented Fletcher.  "Without this, our success this season would not have been possible.  I want to congratulate Jake Gladieux on this 60m Hurdle title, Kimball Hughes on this Weight Throw title and Ethan Spahr on his Triple Jump title.  Our team this year was very balanced, scoring points in all 16 events."

Under the leadership of Fletcher, Gladieux, Hughes, and Spahr were all named to the 2024 All-MIAA First Team.

Fletcher is in his sixth year at the helm of both the indoor and the outdoor track and field programs.
