Seventeen MIAA Men's Indoor Competitors Named All-Region by USTFCCCA

Seventeen Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's indoor track and field performers representing six MIAA programs gathered All-Great Lakes Region honors March 5, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Among the notable performers for the MIAA were three-time honoree Ethan Valentine of Calvin, who gained honors for the 400m dash, 800m run, and 4x400m relay. Two-time honores were Richard Annorat from Albion, Hope's Joshua Izenbart, and Trine's Jeffery Barnett and Patrick Richardville.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the region’s top three relays teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, Great Lakes, Mideast, Midwest, New England, South/Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season. A total of 772 honors were handed out to men’s athletes, while 781 awards were bestowed to athletes from women’s programs.
