• Adrian took third place at the Defiance Invite Jan. 28, finishing with 107 points. The Bulldogs went 1-2-3 in the one-mile run, with a winning effort by Conner Stevons (Sr., Rochester Hills, Mich.) in 4:34.03. Other first-place finishers for the Bulldogs were Scott Campbell (Sr., Petrolia, Ontario) in the high jump (1.83m), Jordan Davis (Jr., Ottawa Lake, Mich.) in the 200m dash (23.16) and 60m hurdles (8.49) and John Hamilton (Fr.) in the triple jump (6.39m).

• Alma also competed at the Definace Invitational Jan. 28, taking fourth overall with 72 points. Justin Larkins (Sr., Livonia, Mich.) was the winner in the pole vault (3.80m), while the team's 4x200m relay team took second place with a time of 1:37.20.

• Calvin competed against Division I and Division II teams at the Mike Lints Alumni Open at Grand Valley State Jan. 28. Lee Barents (So., Redlands, Calif.) took 12th overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.27m.

•Trine's Jeffery Barnett (So., Fremont, Ohio) set the university record for the long jump for the second consecutive week at the Don and Riley Zimmer Indoor Classic. Barnett bounded for 7.61m, which also is the top performance nationally. Teammate Andrew Bunting (Sr., Brunswick, Ohio) turned in a first-place effort in the weight throw (16.6m) while Jasper Bassett (So., Auburn, Ind.) was the winner in the 400m dash with a time of 50.80.
