MIAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Week #1 Wrap-Up

• Olivet competed at the SVSU Classic Jan. 14, as the Comets showed their strength in distance with a 1-2 finish in the 1-mile run. Connor Bauserman (Sr., Battle Creek, Mich.) finished in 4:23.97, edging teammate Bruce Baker (Jr., Charlotte, Mich.) who finished in 4:23.45. Noah Bailey (Fr., Lenox, Mich.) was victorious in the long jump at his first intercollegiate competition with his mark of 22 feet, 2 1/4 inches.

• Alma had strong performances at the Jack Skoog Triangular Open Jan. 13. Kendric Powell (Fr., Macon, Ga.) finished sixth overall in the 200 meter dash, crossing the line in 24.19. In field events, James Taylor (Jr., Mason, Mich.) was ninth in the weight throw.

• Calvin traveled to the GVSU Eubanks Invitational Jan. 13. Jordan Kramer (Sr., Pewaukee, Wis.) finished sixth in the 3,000 meter run as the top place finisher for the Knights on the track, while Nathan Van Wyhe (So., Frankford, Ill.) tied for sixth in the long jump.
