Kalamazoo Tabbed 2023 MIAA Men's Tennis Regular-Season Champion

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Kalamazoo College men's tennis program was crowned the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) regular-season champion after concluding conference play with a perfect 6-0 record.  This is the sixth-straight MIAA title for the Hornets.

Kalamazoo is currently ranked 14th in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

The Hornets have won 62-consecutive regular-season matches.  This season, Kalamazoo dropped just 13 games of 54 played.

The unbeaten Hornets will compete as the top seed in the MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament which will be held April 27 (semifinals) and April 29 (championship).

Joining Kalamazoo in the four-team MIAA Tournament are Hope College (5-1), Calvin University (4-2), and Trine University (3-3).

The Hornets will host fourth-seeded Trine in the semifinals at 4:00 p.m., while No. 2 Hope will host No. 3 Calvin at 4:00 p.m.  The highest-remaining seed will host the final match on April 29.
