Around the MIAA
Adrian
The Adrian College men’s tennis team was in action three times this past week. The Bulldogs lost to Lawrence Tech 8-1 on Wednesday and then fell to Cornerstone 6-3 on Saturday before beating Holy Cross (Ind.) later on Saturday for their first win of the fall. Freshman Charlie Mora went 3-0 on the week at the five singles slot. Juniors Nate Waterbury and Tanner Wilcox won at one doubles in the victory over Holy Cross, with Waterbury winning the match in a super tiebreaker at one singles.

Alma
The Alma College men's tennis team swept Olivet nine matches to none on Saturday (Sept. 22). The Scots improved their record to 1-1 with the win.

The Olivet College men's tennis team fell to Alma College, 9-0, in a non-conference match at the Harper Creek Tennis Facility in Battle Creek. The Comets' No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams lost close 8-6 pro-sets.
