Kalamazoo Men's Tennis Bumped in NCAAs

Kalamazoo was unable to replicate their regular season win over Kenyon, as the Hornets dropped a 5-3 decision to No. 28 Kenyon Friday in the second round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships.

Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus put Kalamazoo on the board with an 8-4 No. 1 doubles win, but the Hornets were unable to break through in the other two closely-contested doubles matches.

Metzler added a second point with a 7-5, 6-3 No. 1 singles win, and Noah Karoub added a 6-4, 6-1 No. 6 singles victory. But Kenyon notched two three-set wins at No. 2 and No. 5 singles for the match's decisive points.
