Head coach Jake Taber said he is proud of who Wilcox is and what he represents.

“He’s diligent in his effort, incredibly committed to his faith, and prioritizes his academics,” Taber said. “He applies that work ethic to the boards, and as a result, some pretty incredible things like this honor happen. We’re really happy for him.”

This season, Wilcox repeated as Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champion in 3-meter diving. He also was voted by the league’s coaches as MIAA co-Diver of the Year.
