The Brits gained multiple victories from Parker Belmore (Jr., Livonia, Mich.), Derek Bosko (Sr., Holland, Mich.), Gerardo Huidobro (So., Lima, Peru), Alec Nyboer (Fr., Hamilton, Mich.) and Sebastian Tostado (Sr., Estado de Mexico). Belmore won both the 200 IM and 200 back while coming in second in the 100 back.

• Calvin defeated Hope in MIAA action, 163-125, Jan. 7. Ben Holstege (So., Keswick, Va.) took two firsts in individual swims (200 IM, 2:00.45; 100 back, 52.74) and was on Calvin's winning 200 medley relay team. The Knights took first in 11 events, while Hope swept the victories on the diving boards.

• Kalamazoo posted a 135-75 victory over MIAA foe Olivet Jan. 7. A balanced effort carried the Hornets, including a Sharif Shaker (So., Castro Valley, Calif.) winning the 50 free, touching first in the 100 breast, and swimming on Kalamazoo's winning 200 medley relay team.
