Calvin Men's Soccer Team Headed to Iowa for NCAA III Tournament Play

2023 NCAA III Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket

The Calvin men's soccer team is headed back to the NCAA III Tournament. The Knights will face Greenville University (11-7-4) on Friday at 3:30 p.m. (CST) on the campus of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

Wartburg (12-1-6) is the host of the four-team regional . Wartburg will face Gustavus Adolphus (10-3-7) in the game to follow at 5:30 p.m. (CST).

The winners of Friday's first round games will play in the regional final on Saturday at 5 p.m. (CST) at Wartburg. All games will be played at Wartburg's Salzwedel Field.

"We are very pleased to be back in the NCAA III Tournament," said Calvin head men's soccer coach Ryan Souders. "It's a great achievement and testament to the guys on our team for reaching this point. We are excited for the opportunity."

Calvin (16-2-1) is making its 20th trip to the NCAA III Tournament including its 14th in the last 16 years with the 2020 tournament wiped out due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Calvin is 37-21-6 in the NCAA Tournament all-time. The Knights advanced to the national semifinals in 2015 and 2019 and to the NCAA III Finals in 2009, 2011, 2016 and 2018.
