Calvin University to Compete in 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Calvin University will represent the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) in the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament, as announced by the NCAA on November 7.

The Knights received the league's automatic bid into the national tournament after winning the 2022 MIAA Men's Soccer Tournament.  Calvin also claimed the 2022 MIAA Championship crown after earning a 6-1 mark in conference play.  This is the 20th appearance on the national stage for the Knights.

Calvin (15-2-2 overall) will face Carnegie Mellon (11-4-1 overall) in the first round of competition.  The teams will travel to Kenyon College (16-1-1 overall) in Gambier, Ohio, for the opening games.  Greenville (11-3-5 overall) will play the host in the first round.

First- and second-round play will take place at 16 four-team sites, November 12-13.  The winners of the second round will advance to one of four sectional sites, November 19-20.  The Semifinals and the Championship games will take place December 1-3 at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia.
