Miles Tabbed to Lead Adrian Men's Soccer Program

ADRIAN, Mich. – Athletic Director Craig Rainey announced the hiring of Charlie Miles as the new head coach of the Adrian College men's soccer team. Miles comes from Detroit Mercy where he served as an assistant coach before earning interim head coach status in November of 2022.
 
Prior to Detroit Mercy, Miles served as assistant coached at Concordia University Ann Arbor from 2019-21. He was a 2020 graduate of Concordia Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor's degree in business marketing.
 
Miles has long been a part of Detroit City FC as a coach, first as a youth club soccer coach for DCFC Youth West since 2016, where he ran training sessions and created daily activities for various youth teams. He also was the assistant women's soccer coach for DCFC in 2021, creating and executing session plans, along with assisting in pre-game strategy and game-day coaching for the semi-pro women's team locally in Detroit.
 
Miles is a native of Brighton, England where he grew up playing for the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy. In 2014, he played in the Premier Development League in Florida for SWFL Adrenaline while beginning his coaching career with a Chicago Fire affiliate.

I'm looking forward to helping the student-athletes at Adrian College, both on and off the field."
 
Miles will begin his responsibilities immediately where he will begin to build the recruiting class for the upcoming 2023 season.
