Joel Zaretti (Troy, Mich.) scored Albion's goal in the 5-1 loss to Calvin in a MIAA Tournament semifinal match.

No. 2/2 Calvin (19-1-1, 7-0-0)
Calvin won the MIAA Tournament by defeating Albion and Hope. In the final, Calvin beat Hope in a shootout 4-3. Hunter Olson scored twice in the semifinal against Albion, and Chris Morrish had two saves in the shootout against Hope.
Hope (14-5-1, 6-1-0)
The Hope College men's soccer team received an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament after finishing runner-up in the MIAA Tournament. On Saturday, the Flying Dutchmen played Calvin to a scoreless draw but lost the shootout, 4-3. Goalie Blair McCormick (Wadsworth, Ill.) made four saves against the Knights in Hope's 11th shutout of the season. On Wednesday, the Flying Dutchmen defeated Kalamazoo in the semifinals. Senior defender Jordan Hooker (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and sophomore midfielder Ryan Flynn (Bloomington, Ill.) scored.
RV/NR Kalamazoo (11-4-2, 4-2-1)
Kalamazoo lost its lone match of the week in a 2-0 defeat by Hope in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals. Goalie Luke Kastran made seven saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal for the Hornets. On Monday, Kalamazoo was chosen as an at-large selection in the NCAA III Tournament. The berth is the team's first since 2001 as the Hornets will travel to John Carroll University to play against Centre College on Saturday, Nov. 16. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
