Three Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's soccer players garnered Academic All-District® honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and will be eligible for Academic All-America® accolades later this year.

Calvin's Ian Adams and Jacob Lyon along with Hope's Logan Bylsma were honored for success both in competition and in the classroom with their selection to the CoSIDA Division III Academic All-District 6 team.

Adams, a computer science major with a minor in mathematics, has aided Calvin offensively with seven goals, 17 assists, and 31 points. Adams continues to be among the national leaders in assists this season; the senior recently matched the Calvin career record in assists with 45.

Lyon is a biochemistry major with aspirations to attend medical school upon graduation. This season, Lyon has three goals and one assist as a defensive/holding midfielder.

Bylsma, a 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-American®, led the Flying Dutchmen with 13 goals and a career-high 31 points; Bylsma also recorded a career-best five assists. Bylsma helped Hope post its second consecutive season with at least 14 wins for the first time since 2004-05. Bylsma is a public accounting major.

CoSIDA's NCAA Division III District 6 includes Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Members of CoSIDA from the district vote on Academic All-District honors. Student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale and must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution to be eligible.
