Junior Miguel Ramirez of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS), recorded his second goal of the season for the Hope College men's soccer team in a 2-1 loss at Olivet on Tuesday.

The Flying Dutchmen (5-7 overall, 2-5 MIAA) had their two-game win streak snapped.

Ramirez scored with three minutes, 58 seconds left in the first half to cut Olivet's lead to 2-1.

He headed in a free kick from freshman James Reymann of Columbus, Ohio (Worthington Kilbourne HS). It was Reymann's second assist of the season.

Olivet (2-10-1, 1-5-1 MIAA), scored twice in the first 28 minutes of the match.

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Alma.
