Three MIAA Men's Lacrosse Athletes Tabbed All-Americans by USILA

Three men's lacrosse players from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were announced to the Honorable Mention All-America team by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on May 24.

Both Jace Conley and Sam Puzevic represent Albion College on the Honorable Mention All-America team after leading the Brits to the regular-season title (6-0 MIAA) and an overall record of 14-5.

Fifth-year senior attackman Jace Conley became a three-time All-American this season.  Conley was voted the 2023 MIAA Offensive Player of the Year and concluded his career as a four-time All-MIAA honoree.  In a total of 18 games played, Conley finished the season as the MIAA's leader with 114 points and 77 goals.  He is also the leader at Albion with 438 career points.

Senior attackman Sam Puzevic earned an All-America nod from the USILA for the first time this year.  Puzevic wrapped up his career as a three-time All-MIAA honoree.  In 19 games played this season, Puzevic finished as a conference leader in both man-up goals (19) and shots (184).

Hope College sophomore Luke Wierengo was also named to the Honorable Mention All-America team.  The long-stick midfielder led the Flying Dutchmen to the 2023 MIAA Tournament title, along with an overall record of 13-6 (5-1 MIAA).  Wierengo was selected to the All-MIAA First Team in his inaugural season on the Hope squad.  He completed the 2023 campaign with a total of 39 caused turnovers and 82 ground balls.
