Alma, MI – Alma College has hired Casey Hogan as the Scots' next Head Men's Lacrosse Coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Sarah Dehring on November 1.
"We are very happy to announce Casey Hogan as the Alma College head men's lacrosse coach," said Dehring.
"He brings with him a variety of coaching experience that will help him to build our program and take to the next level. Casey is a talented coach, who has a deep understanding of what it takes to not only recruit students, but to then help them develop the skills necessary to step out into the world post-graduation."
Hogan joins Alma from the Force Lacrosse Club, where he served as the Head Coach of the Senior Team.
"It is an honor to be welcomed into the Alma family. We have an extremely intelligent and tight knit group of young men on the team, led by numerous upperclassmen. I am positive these young men are ready for the next test."

Knowing she is at the helm of our Athletics Department, gives me confidence we will feel supported as a team. I want to thank President Abernathy, the Search Committee, Athletics Staff, and Senior Staff for the time they spent with me during the interview process. I would also like to thank my girlfriend, Ashleigh. She's been a shepherd to me in faith, life, and lacrosse. Without her this opportunity would not be possible.

Hogan was in his 2nd year at Force Lacrosse Club, where he was responsible for running practices, implementing offensive and defensive schemes on a short timeline, and speaking to college coaches about player recruitment. During this time he also served as the head coach of the boy's lacrosse program at Solon High.
Prior to his time with Force and Solon, Hogan served as the head coach of the University of Illinois Club Men's Lacrosse Team from 2018-2020. There he was responsible for recruiting, planning practices, game planning, organizing philanthropic activities for the team, budgeting, and setting up travel itineraries.
Before joining Illinois, Hogan served as the Head Coach at Hawken Middle School. He ran every practice with conditioning and drills, as well as preparing for away games. He also volunteered at the high school level, where he helped guide his team to a State Final Four appearance in 2015.
Hogan graduated from Notre Dame College with a BA in Sport Management, along with a minor in coaching. He also holds a Master's degree in Sport Coaching from Ohio State University.
