Undefeated Albion Men's Lacrosse Wins 2023 MIAA Regular-Season Championship Title

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Albion College men's lacrosse program was tabbed the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) regular-season champion after concluding the 2023 season with a perfect 6-0 record.  This is the fifth MIAA title in program history for the Brits.

Albion clinched the title outright following a 28-8 victory over Alma College on April 28.  Seven players finished the season with double digits in points including the following:  fifth-year senior attacker Jace Conley (31 goals, 16 assists), senior attacker Sam Puzevic (24 goals, 16 assists), junior attacker Ethan Rottell (18 goals, 14 assists), freshman midfielder Cal Stearns (19 goals, 6 assists), junior midfielder Brock Yabs (6 goals, 7 assists), freshman midfielder Marcus Haynie (7 goals, 3 assists, and junior attacker Matt Montgomery (4 goals, 6 assists).

Albion will compete as the No. 1 seed in the 2023 MIAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, which will be held on May 3 (semifinals) and May 6 (championship).

The official tournament bracket will be released following the final contest on Saturday, April 29.
