Week #5 Wrap from March 12-18
• Albion split two contests last week, ending with a 9-8 three-overtime victory at Otterbein March 17. In the longest game in program history, Albion's David DiRado (Jr., Northville, Mich.) shook the net with 1:10 into the third overtime to lift the Britons.
• Alma score the first four goals of their game against Heidelberg March 14 and never looked back in a 16-7 win at home. Daniel Buchy (Sr., Springboro, Ohio) had three of those first four goals to fuel the hot start.
• Hope improved their winning streak to five with a come-from-behind win over DePauw mid-week last week, 11-8. Trailing 8-5 heading into the final quarter, Hope scored the game's final six goals for the win; Andrew Pavey (So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) was the spark in the rally, scoring four of his team-high five goals in the fourth period.
• Trine knocked of Heidelberg March 17 in non-conference action, posting a 14-5 road win. Leading the Thunder was Nick Maher (Sr., DeWitt, Mich.), who had three goals with two assists in the contest.
• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for March 19 were:
