Albion Rallies to Win Fourth MIAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament

Albion 11, Hope 8 

Facing a 5-1 deficit to a team that entered the game on a 15-game winning sterak, the Albion men's lacrosse team methodically battled back, regained the lead in the third quarter, and outscored Hope 3-1 in the fourth to win their fourth consecutive MIAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament Championship Saturday.

Brandon Lebioda and Brady Lawrence each scored three goals to lead the offense while Trevor McManus made nine saves, including three in the fourth quarter. In the decisive fourth, Albion also won four of five face-offs with nine ground balls while out-shooting Hope 16-8.

Albion awaits their NCAA postseason fate when the NCAA announces the tournament field Sunday, May 6 at 9 p.m.
