ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletic Director Michael Duffy has announced the hiring of Brent Greenwood as the new men's and women's golf coach. Greenwood is a 2014 graduate of Adrian College and has spent the last four seasons as the head coach of the club baseball team.

"I am very happy to announce the hiring of Brent Greenwood as our new golf coach," said Duffy. "His knowledge of the game puts us in a good position to succeed in the MIAA. I think he will connect well with the student-athletes and continue to grow the Adrian College golf program."

Greenwood has played golf since he was five years old and spent four years on the Whitmer High School golf team. During his senior year he was a Day Two medalist of the City League Championship and finished 10th overall.

After college, Greenwood has played in numerous golf leagues and tournaments. At Adrian he assisted the men's and women's golf team for the past three seasons during the spring trips to South Carolina.

"I am really excited and thankful for the opportunity to lead our men's and women's golf teams," Greenwood said. "Coach Williams has done a great job building the program over the last 8 years and I will look to build on his success."

Greenwood will replace previous head coach Ryan Williams who is taking over the women's golf program at Division I Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
