Four MIAA Men's Golfers Named NCAA Division III PING All-Region Honorees

NORMAN, Okla. -- Four men's golfers from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) were announced to the 2021 NCAA Division III PING Great Lakes All-Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on June 24.

Out of 15 total golfers on the Great Lakes Region list, the four MIAA golfers receiving All-Region accolades include Kasen Anderson and Sam Holland of Calvin, Hope's Will Robson, and Kalamazoo's Jackson Jones.

Anderson was named the MIAA's Most Valuable Golfer following a season-best 73.17 average, along with First Team honors.  Holland became a four-time All-MIAA honoree after tying for second in the league with a 73.67 average.  Jones earned his second-straight spot on the First Team, while Robson received his first ever All-Conference honors.

Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) is the professional organization of golf coaches. The GCAA's mission is to support its member coaches by creating educational opportunities, providing resources, and promoting its members with the purpose of enhancing their overall performance as coaches, mentors, and teachers. The GCAA also recognizes the excellence and achievements of its members and their student-athletes in academic, athletic and civic endeavors.
