At the conclusion of the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's golf spring season, Trine University was crowned the MIAA Champion for the second-straight season. The All-MIAA awards were also announced for the top 13 student-athletes, according to scoring average through six MIAA Jamborees.
With a season-best 73.17 average, Calvin's Kasen Anderson was named the MIAA Men's Golf Most Valuable Golfer. Tait Morrissey of Alma was selected as the Sportsmanship Award winner in a vote of MIAA men's golf head coaches.
Six players were named first-team All-MIAA performers. Calvin's Sam Holland earned his fourth-consecutive All-MIAA accolade, while Trine's Cameron Ruge is now a three-time All-MIAA honoree. Kalamazoo's Jackson Jones, Hope's Jack Crawford, and Trine's Carlos Coeto and Mitch Lowney all received All-MIAA recognition for the second time.
Trine earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament, which begins May 11 at Oglebay Resort & Conference Center in Wheeling, W.V.
