At the conclusion of the 2019 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's golf fall season, All-MIAA awards were announced for the top 12 student-athletes, according to scoring average through six MIAA rounds: four MIAA Jamborees, and two rounds in the Fall Final Oct. 4-5 at Forest Akers West.
With a season-best 72.3 average, including an MIAA-low 68 during the first round of the Fall Final, Trine's Grant Brettnacher was named the MIAA Men's Golf Most Valuable Golfer. Brettnacher was also voted as the Sportsmanship Award winner in a vote of MIAA men's golf head coaches. Brattnacher becomes the first golfer in MIAA history to be both Most Valuable Golfer and Sportsmanship Award winner in the same season.
Seven players were named first-team All-MIAA performers, with a tie for the sixth spot. All seven first-team honorees were named to the All-MIAA First Team for the first time in their careers; Trine's Grant Brettnacher and Calvin's Sam Holland were both two-time second-team All-MIAA earlier in their collegiate careers.
