Around the MIAA
Adrian
Senior Andrew Skibski leads Adrian on the MIAA leaderboard with a 73.5 stroke average and he is 74.2 overall in six rounds. Adrian recorded a collective 311 for fifth place at the second MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine University. Freshman AJ Clark's 73 as an individual set a personal record to set the tone for the Bulldogs, coming in tied for ninth overall for another personal benchmark so far in his AC career.
Albion
Justin Kapke (Canton, Mich./Plymouth) matched his season-low (74) in the MIAA Jamboree at the Zollner Golf Course last Saturday. Kapke has been consistent with his seven rounds ranging from 74-80.
Alma
Freshman Eli Pinter (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) shot a career-low 73 at the second MIAA Jamboree at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind. Sophomore Tait Morrissey (Canadian Lakes, Mich./Big Rapids) shot a 79, two strokes off his season-low. Seniors Bennett Schmitt (Frankfort, Mich./Frankfort) and Kyle Bodkins (Ada, Mich./Forest Hills Central) came in with an 81 and 86. The Scots are seventh in the conference after two league tournaments.
Calvin

No. 9 Hope
With a seven-under-par team total of 277, the Hope College men's golf team won its second MIAA Jamboree in emphatic fashion on Saturday. The Flying Dutchmen finished 19 strokes ahead of runners-up Trine University and Calvin College who each shot 296. With the victory at Trine's Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana, Hope stands first in the league standings after two jamborees with a 563 total and holds a 25-stroke lead over second-place Calvin. Senior Josh Gibson, pictured, was the event's medalist with a six-under 65, tying the Zollner course record for MIAA play shared by Hope's Nick Campbell (2012) and Adrian's Jordan Kelly (2010). Gibson also equaled the MIAA record for lowest round at any league event shared by three golfers, including Campbell.
Kalamazoo
The Kalamazoo College men's golf team finished fourth at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine at Zollner Golf Course this past Saturday. Kalamazoo shot 299 overall, just three strokes out of a tie for second place. Nick Ludka tied for third overall with a 71. Jackson Jones followed with a 75. Travis Veenhuis (76) and Parker Pickell (77) rounded out the top four.
Olivet
The Olivet College men's golf team finished in eighth-place at the MIAA Jamboree #2, held at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. Sophomore Nicholas Hoffman and senior Joey Richmond paced Olivet with matching 79s.
